There is so much to tell, and as we are nearing the end of our time in Paris, I do not have much time to tell...
After our incredible photography tour, we made our way to the Arc de Triumph. I had no idea how large it in fact is, nor did I realize that in four different directions, it makes an arch! What an impressive structure!
From there we wandered down the Champs Elysees, a street similar in nature to Rodeo Drive in LA. It is full of expensive shops that we could only dream of making purchases in, but we enjoyed the stroll!
We found our way to the Louvre, another amazing and incredible structure! Our guide had told us that early on, it had in fact been more of a fort. She described it as a large hall, full of lots of big men, sitting around nawing on meat until it became the home of Louis XIV.
Melissa pointed out, as we stood in awe of this enormous creation, that the building itself, lots of men, and lots of meat, that she'd be happy there! I had to agree!
Sorry, but on my time schedule, I must stop here! Wishing you all well, I promise to add pictures and more stories soon!
