Hotels

We will be staying at Royal St. Germain in Paris from June 5th - June 10th as we become used to the European lifestyle.

We will then travel on an overnight train to the history-filled city of Berlin where we will stay at A and O Mitte until June 15th.

Next we head to the Czech Republich on another night train where we will stay at the Koruna in Prague until the 20th.

We will take a day train and soak in some of the beautiful scenery as we travel to Salzburg to sing about the hillls. We will stay at Altstadt Weisse Taube for two nights.

We will travel by train to Vienna and spend the night at the Eurostars Hotel for just one night before traveling onto my favorite country!

Since we'll be used to them at this point, we will be taking another night train into Italy and stay in Venice from the 24th - 27th. We will stay near the Rialto Bridge at San Lio Tourist House.

Then, we will set out to my second hometown, Florence! We will stay downtown at Hotel Sampaoli and enjoy the 72 flavors of gelato before venturing onto Rome on the 2nd of July.

While in Rome, we will live like the Romans (and celebrate the birth of our country) at Nizza Hotel until we fly home on July 7th.

Plans

Being a school teacher comes with some incredible benefits. Not only do I have the pleasure to work with incredible people and wonderful children each day, but I have the summers off for traveling!

A few of my friends are still in school for a variety of future careers and we decided that this was an opportunity that we could not pass up, so we decided to travel to Europe together!

My good friend, a master in rocket science, from Louisiana, Emily, will be making the entire, 32 night travel with me. Another good friend, from Tennesse, Mary, will be traveling with us until we get to Vienna. Melissa, a sister from Georgia who is now living in Minnesota will be joining us for the week in Paris, while Angie, another sister from Georgia who is currently living in New York is going to visit Venice with us before traveling on with her family.
